Reap and Catch up

Hi Folks,

It's been a while and I have left my blogs abandon long enough. So here goes another attempt at keeping with what's going on. Since I last left you, a few things have happen but two major things that matter.

We bought our first home, so now Ramon has a place to call his neighborhood until he is all grown up and leaves. It's a nice place with several parks near by, lots of community events and plenty of kids near by. The home needs work but hey we have 30years to make it our own and most the items are small or preference.

The other big news? Well we are adding to the Diaz family. Yup soon Ramon will have a baby brother. He is very receptive to the idea and I think he will make a great big brother. Now if Mommy and Daddy could just put a name together.

As for Ramon, well He is three now and getting smarter everyday. His vocab is impressive and his motor skills are great. Overall he is very healthy and happy. We had an issue with him sleeping in our bed for awhile but with some hard work and persistence I have managed to get him in to his own twin bed. From time to time he still wakes up at 4am and crawls in to our bed but overall he is doing good and sleeping through the night. Ramon's eating habits have changed and we blame ours selves for the most part for the bad stuff as we set the example and provide the product. However it's not super bad just not as good as I would like it to be. I have picked up a few tricks, tips and even come up with a few of my own to curb his habits back and feel pretty good about the new direction and his openness to everything. Daycare is going well. He is only in two days a week but he has grown to enjoy it. It was a rough start lots of tears and grasping at first specifically when he transition to the new class but now he almost forgets to say bye.

All in all, life is good. Lots to look forward to in the coming day, months and years but I think we are as ready as we are going to be.

Sorry no picture this time but I am going to start adding a new section to my rants SAHD TIP just some info that has helped me along the way. I could be a recipe or activity that has made things fun or easier maybe it can help you too.

SAHD TIP:
Telling your child that the broccoli on their plate is really just tiny trees and they need a giant to eat the tree tops might surprise you.
